% o1 s6 E/ a+ O9 ~1966年Jimi来到了伦敦，在Zoot Money的一场演出使Jimi在此迅速走红。Jimi的演出给经纪人Chas Chanoller留下了深刻的印象，并把其介绍给鼓手Mitch Mitchell和贝司手Noel Redding，三人开始聚在一起排练，1960年10月6日，组成The Jimi Hendrix Experience 乐队，很快便引起轰动。观看了乐队在某俱乐部的一场演出之后，Kit Lamber深受吸引，并试图劝说乐队签入其新开设的Trach厂牌旗下，但是由于Trach处于创业时期，经常并不顺利，于是乐队的第一支单曲"Hey Joe"由Polydor公司推出发行，于是成了排行榜的大热门。
