Jimi于1942年11月27日出生于华盛顿西雅图，印第安黑人血统，他小时候就整天泡在父亲A1收藏的Jazz和 Blues唱片中，并通过收音机收听R&B，Rock Nroll等新音乐风格。A1看出儿子对音乐的强烈兴趣，给他买了一把吉它，Jimi不放过任何练习的机会，很快就能跟当地几个乐队演出了。- Q# Z1 ^" c C# i$ S( y. ~
