The Flaming Lips简介
# w* w+ ]1 A2 P/ ]7 E$ Z$ dAMG把The Flaming Lips归结在Alternative pop/rock类。这支83年在美国俄克拉荷马成军的乐队10余年来，一直以充满了传奇色彩的经历以及不停爆发出来的音乐天赋被乐坛所关注着。乐队的成军不过是主唱Wayne Conye从教堂里偷了把乐器，拽上兄弟Mark和贝司手Lvins就成立了乐队。关于"烈焰红唇"的得名说法不一，似乎是来自于某部色情电影，或者有关毒品，又好像是源自主唱一个火辣梦境。最初的演出是在一个异装癖酒吧，并没有人对这支乐队有什么兴趣。而随着乐队的音乐天赋渐渐显露，他们在1986和1987年发行了两张专辑<Hear it is>和<Oh my Gawd!!...The Flaming Lips>，并开始巡演。期间他们吸引了Mercury Rev的成员Donahue加入。在又发行了两张专辑后，乐队成员来来走走，也包括Donahue的离开。
