Killswitch Engage简介

6 ]1 D) h U* x+ b# z1 G1998年，Metalcore乐团Overcast解散后，贝司手Mike D’Antonio想要组织一个结合硬核朋克与重金属的新团，隔年找来Aftershock的双吉他手团员Adam Dutkiewicz以及Joel Stroetzel共同创作演出，最后邀请Jesse Leach担任主唱一职后，Killswitch Engage正式宣告成军。

2000年推出独立厂牌的首张同名专辑，就在多加入一名成员Tom Gomes担任鼓手后，2002年进入Roadrunner后问世《Alive Or Just Breathing》，在没有强力宣传下大破十余万销售量，深受地下独立乐界好评赞誉。换上新任主唱Howard Jones以及新任鼓手Justin Foley顺势推出《The End Of Heartache》，首周便空降全美流行专辑榜Top21位置，凶猛的作品也成为美国摔角WWE与ECW等选手最爱。1 Q4 F6 v5 c# \/ c' R! P* y$ E
