2007末，Delain宣布他们将于2008发行发行第二张专辑，并开始现场演奏俩首新歌 "Stay Forever" & "Start Swimming". 2008年11月份，Delain官网透漏消息他们的新专辑 April Rain将于09年2月9日发行，他们也在荷兰电视节目里发送了一首新歌 I'll Reach You. 这首歌与后来专辑里的歌曲不符。

在2010年的7月份于英国举行的Sonisphere Festival上， Delain是开幕乐队。7月30日他们又担任了 Saturn Stage的开幕演奏乐队。
