1 @, Q/ }' S {; V$ J0 U9 l刚刚进入乐坛，便被冠以"New York Joy Division"的头衔，还有象The Chameleons、The Cure等等后朋纪元的经典名字。听到过太多"新Joy Division"的称谓，我并未期望过他们可以逾越Joy Division这座真正的丰碑，因为我深知这是痴人说梦；我却也不会在乎他们只是一群拙劣的模仿者，因为我只是希望可以再次沉溺，寻回昔日的回忆哪怕仅有一丝的影子，而Interpol最令我欣喜的是他们竟然真的承传着来自当年Post-Punk伟大纪元的精良神髓，延续着自省阴郁的灰暗后朋精神。 / |9 s8 y0 I5 l% s$ k) y5 z

Interpol成立于1998年纽约，成员分别是主唱兼吉他手Paul Bans，吉他手Daniel Kessler，低音吉他手Carlos Dengler和鼓手Sam Fogarino。其实乐队受到乐坛关注，或多或少都应该感谢以同城乐团The Strokes为代表所引发的"美国入侵不列颠"潮流，但是乐团的音乐风格却和A.R.E. Weapons、Andrew WK、The Moldy Peaches等来自纽约的名字大相径庭，Interpol的乐风甚至形象气质皆流露着浓浓的英伦气息，这也是我对这支团体极有好感的原因之一。且看Interpol极其文雅风度的衣着（看看旁边的照片），有形有款的Mode味道，都散发着浓浓的英式Post-Punk／New Wave格调，而乐团的音乐更是显得忧郁黯淡，全没有传统美国朋克音乐粗野狂放，沉淀着的是多一份精致多一份内敛的欧陆风格。1 i& {; G+ _% L% b* d& h
