Wale简介
Wale，原名Olubowale Victor Folarin。1984年9月21日出生于华盛顿。2006年，他创作的说唱歌曲"Dig Dug (Shake It)"让他在华盛顿小有名气。Wale在06年引起了制作人Mark Ronson的注意，并在07年被引荐进Allido Records，并在这个厂牌下发行了几张Mixtape而且开始出现于MTV和一些国家音乐杂志。Wale的第一张录音室专辑《Attention Deficit》在09年发行后，虽然并没有引起特别大的反响，但是为其赢得了不错的口碑。在2011年初，Wale与Rick Ross的厂牌Maybach Music Group签约，参与了厂牌群星专辑Self Made Vol. 1的创作。同年11月1日，Wale发行了第二张录音室专辑《Ambition》，发行首周便斩获当周US Billboard 200榜单第二的位置， 首周销量164,000余张。这张专辑也被RIAA认证为黄金唱片。凭借专辑内的单曲"Lotus Flower Bomb"，Wale获得了2012年BET最佳合作奖。2013年6月25日，发行第三张录音室专辑《The Gifted》，发行首周荣登当周US Billboard榜单第一，首周销量158000余张。这张专辑也被RIAA认证为黄金唱片。2015年3月31日，发行第四张录音室专辑《The Album About Nothing》。与前几张专辑类似，发行当周便拿下US Billboard 200第一的位置。2017年4月28日，发行第五张录音室专辑《Shine》。这张专辑反响平平，无论是乐评还是销量方面都没有积极的表现。2019年10月11日，发行第六张录音室专辑《Wow... That's Crazy》。
