莎拉·布莱曼“追梦”2013全球巡演中国站将于今年6月拉开帷幕，先后在台北、深圳、广州、南宁、上海和北京举办个人演唱会。其中北京站的演出将作为此次中国巡演的收官演出，于6月28日在万事达中心举行。这将是莎拉继2004年、2009年之后的第3次、也是飞往太空“追梦”前的最后一次中国巡演。莎拉·布莱曼，英国跨界音乐女高音歌手和演员，被称为“月光女神”，是继世界三大男高音之后世界乐坛涌现出的另一个天后级人物，与安德烈·波切利（Andrea Bocelli）被称为是跨越古典与流行的标志性艺人。在世界歌坛风行古典流行跨界互相交融的今天，Sarah无疑站在了这个潮流的最前沿。

Sarah Brightman对于我们大多数人来说可能是个陌生的名字，但如果你看过94年巴赛罗那奥运会MTV的话，相信你一定记得那位与卡雷拉斯对唱的女声，她迷人的嗓音让人过耳难忘，此人就是来自英国的女歌手Sarah Brightman。 莎拉在欧美已走红多年，她主演的那些音乐剧，诸如《歌剧魅影》 、《猫》 、《歌与舞》的主题曲和剧中的歌曲不径而走，广为传唱，莎拉也被誉为“歌舞剧皇后”。但国内乐迷结识莎拉只是近一两年的事，因为莎拉的唱片进入国内市场的极少， 目前能见到的有《Time to say goodbye》 、《Eden》 、《莎拉·布莱曼演唱的韦伯音乐剧金曲》 、《The trees they grow so high》。 一般来说歌星或歌唱家都能根据其发声方法将其归入相应的演唱类别 ，或美声 ，或通俗。但莎拉·布莱曼是个例外，你很难将其归入到某一种唱法之中，因为她既能唱美声也能唱流行歌曲，而且这两种唱法听来都很有魅力，因此喜爱她的歌的各种各样的人都有。可以说莎拉·布莱曼跨越了流行与古典为雅俗所共赏。
关于Sarah Brightman
莎拉·布莱曼，英国美声唱法的历史革命者，世界级天后歌唱家，1986年获得了格莱美当代古典音乐奖这一奖项和格莱美最佳古典女艺人的提名。在西班牙她被称为“歌剧天使；在德国她被称为“舞台剧歌后”；在日本她被称为“超人气歌星”；在大陆她被古典界称为“歌后”，被流行界称为“巨星” ，记不住她名字的人称为“大眼妹”。她在迪斯科初试啼声，因为演绎安德鲁·洛伊·韦伯（1984-1990年的丈夫）（Andrew Lloyd Webber）的音乐剧而闻名于世。
在她21岁的时候，饰演了韦伯的著名音乐剧《猫》“Cats”中的小猫（可爱猫）Jemima（需要女高音及舞蹈基础），但并没有引起韦伯的注意，于是很快转到了查尔斯·施特劳斯的儿童歌剧《夜莺》剧组，获得了好评。后来韦伯的朋友向韦伯推荐了莎拉，此时引起了韦伯的注意，并与韦伯结婚了，因此莎拉的人生有了非常大的转折点。创作《歌剧魅影》“The Phantom of the Opera”时，女主角克莉丝汀的音乐就是根据她的音域而作。结果，莎拉布莱曼和饰演魅影的迈克尔·克劳福德皆一炮而红。后来莎拉也演唱许多韦伯的歌曲，并收录到专辑里。她还在1992年巴塞罗那奥运会上与何塞·卡雷拉斯演唱了《Amigos Para Siempre》一曲。并与中国歌手刘欢同唱2008年北京奥运会主题歌《You and me》，代表作为《告别时刻》、
《斯卡波罗集市》、《歌剧魅影》、《月光女神》、《猫》、《名誉至上》等著名音乐作品。
而更令人叹为观止的，是莎拉的歌声能够极具创造性地将流行音乐、舞台剧和古典音乐结合在一起，用一种极为难得的艺术手法将所演唱的音乐表现出来，且总能不损其原味。突出表现为西班牙文的爱情赞颂歌曲《Pasión》。著名的曲目包括《Time to Say Goodbye》、《The Phantom of the Opera》等。莎拉也演唱过许多原剧中应是男角唱的歌曲，包括歌剧《图兰朵》中的《Nessun Dorma》、《艾薇塔》唱段音乐剧《The Phantom of the Opera》的《The Music of the Night》依旧涉及到流行、古典和摇滚三大音乐类型。莎拉·布莱曼创造了女人所未曾创造过的成绩——她是第一位同时登上跨国流行、古典和跨界音乐最高地位的女性，她不愧为“音乐剧皇后”。
