Starset简介
Starset是来自美国俄亥俄州哥伦布市的摇滚乐队，由Dustin Bates（达斯汀·贝茨）于2013年成立。他们于2014年发行首张专辑“Transmissions（传输）”及其第二张专辑“Vessels（飞船）”于2017年1月20日发行。 该乐队已成功通过社交媒体和YouTube扩展其概念专辑的创意，截至2016年11月，乐队从YouTube的观点中获得超过23万美元的收入。他们的单曲“My Demons”累积了超过2.8亿的YouTube观看次数 在同一时期。2017年5月，他们在商业上最成功的歌曲“Monster”在Billboard美国主流摇滚排行榜上名列第2位。
简介
Starset于2013年由Downplay的主唱Dustin Bates所创立，他同时兼任主唱、作曲人与键盘手的职位，Dustin最早是在俄亥俄大学攻读电机工程博士学位的期间对天文学产生兴趣，他同时也有对美国空军的完整研究，并曾在国际太空大学(ISU)任教。
他们在2014年的七月八号发行了他们的首张专辑Transmissions，而Starset同时也是The Starset Society的一分子，后者帮助他们加深并扩展了专辑中的科学性与政治议题表现。此张专辑中的音乐风格曾与Linkin Park、疯狂班哲明、Skillet(band)、30秒上火星、Three Days Grace与Red等团体相提并论。
