London Grammar简介
London Grammar 是一支来自英国的新晋独立乐队，三名成员在上大学时相遇，并于2012年成立乐队。他们的音乐是种慢板的、迷幻的、有jazz感觉的、迷糊的、带点Hip-Hop节奏的碎拍节奏（Break beat）音乐。他们的音乐内敛又奔放，忧郁飘渺的吉他与唱腔搭配伤感哀怨的歌词，营造出氛围音乐与古典美的完美结合。在许多英国媒体眼中，这支乐队注定要一鸣惊人，但他们呈现的并不是一场勇敢而狂野的冒险，而是一次带着复古气息的，高雅的旅行。London Grammar的首张专辑《If You Wait》在2013年9月9日发行，发行后大获成功，首周在英国金榜上排名第2位。目前首张专辑已获得英国的白金唱片和澳大利亚的金唱片认证。

组建发展
If You Wait（2011~至今）
Hannah与Dan同是诺丁汉大学2009级的学生，Dan在Facebook上见到了Hannah玩吉他的照片，便邀请她一起组建乐队。一年后，Dot也加入进来。
他们取名London Grammar是因为“不仅是因为我们乐队来自伦敦，并且因为“伦敦”是一个非常国际化和多元化的象征。这让乐队听起来更加高端了:) ”
2011年，Hannah与Dan大学毕业后，三人共同来到伦敦发展事业。起初是在一些小酒吧里表演，后来得到一些人的赏识，被Ministry of Sound(一家夜店）签下。
London Grammar
2012年开始为首张专辑进行一些录音，并在年底前完成。2012年12月12日他们将歌曲《Hey Now》上传到Youtube上获得了广泛关注。
2013年2月他们发行了首张EP：《Metal & Dust》，在澳洲iTunes达到TOP5的位置。6月发行第二支单曲《Wasting My Young Years》，在UK Charts取得31名。同期与英国兄弟电子组合Disclosure合作全新单曲《Help Me Lose My Mind》，在Disclosure的首张专辑《Settle》和London Grammar首张专辑的豪华版本中均有收录。
9月1号发行第三支单曲《Strong》，在UK Charts取得16名，在欧洲也大卖，十分成功。随后，9月9日发行首张专辑《If You Wait》。专辑在英国、澳洲榜单获得第二名，法国第11名，爱尔兰第13名和新西兰的第22名。首张专辑便取得如此优异成绩之后，乐队被美国哥伦比亚唱片公司签下。在2013年末，伦敦语法释出了首专四单《Nightcall》的单曲和MV。
2014年初，由于知名天才歌手MIKA在法国知名选秀节目“法国好声音“上的效应，单曲《Wasting My Young Years》强势空降法国榜亚军。而且在专辑销量方面，首专终于获得英国白金销量的认证，澳洲金唱片认证，并开始在北美出售。第五支单曲为《Hey Now》，第六支单曲确认为《Sights》。
