Deep Purple简介
深紫乐队的雏形成立于1968年的英国伦敦，这是一支以之前“探索者”Chirs Curtis（鼓手）为中心的乐队，当时名叫“迂回”（Roundabout）。当时成员还有John Lord与Nick Simper。经过一段时间之后，Chirs Curtis离开了乐队，之后的人员调整也比较频繁。最后“迷宫”（Maze）乐队的两名成员，包括主唱Rod Evans和鼓手成为了固定成员。并开始了他们的北欧巡演。这次巡演成功结束之后，乐队正式更名为深紫（Deep Purple）。

Deep Purple(深紫乐队)与Led Zeppeline、Black Sabbath并称为英国摇滚乐的奠基人，
尽管历经8代成员的变革，（不同时期曾经参与过乐队的成员竟多达14位），却一直如同一棵常青树，保持着旺盛的生命力，活跃在国际乐坛，可谓摇滚乐历史上的一支不朽的传奇。 “Deep Purple“深紫乐队自1968年乐队成立以来，三十年的时间里，共发表了18张专辑，而单曲，精选，及各种不同版本的再版唱片更是多达140余张之多。全球唱片总销量超过1亿张，仅次于“Beatles甲壳虫”乐队，并且遥遥领先于“Rolling Stone”。
Deep purple乐队的出现，带动了整个重金属风潮，比较起另两个重金属元老团，Deep purple 不像 Led zepplin 那样接近蓝调，也不像 Black sabbath 那样信奉黑暗主义，他们所发展的是由键盘手 John lord 所领导的古典式的编曲，与吉他英雄Ritchie Blackmore 所主持的高技术 Solo，他们的这种取向，影响了后世不知多少的吉他手，形成的吉他英雄主义，更是主宰了 80 年代正统的金属乐，听起来好像 John lord 的影响力是较小的，但实际上不然，注意 John lord 的键盘音色与弹奏方式，
实际上和 Ritchie Blackmore 的吉他是对峙的，也就是说， Deep purple 的键盘和吉他的配置，应可以看作为双吉他的编制。
这张专辑精选了多年来深紫乐队的经典作品，例如《Smoke on the Water》 就是 Deep purple 的国歌级作品，此曲的 riff 和 Black sabbath 的 paranoid 都是金属史上最出名的声音之一，当然不用说 Blackmore 最出名的 solo 也是出现在此。而现场版的演绎则更加让人感受到了硬摇滚风格音乐的激情绽放。此专辑还包括《Black Night》、《Never Before》等经典之作。
"Deep Purple"这个词在摇滚乐领域内所代表的已不仅仅是一支乐队的名字，而是一个时代，甚至是一种音乐风格的代名词。在看国外杂志的时候，我们经常能够发现有人用“very Deep Purple”来描述其他乐队的风格，在“江山代有人材出”的音乐圈内，成名将近40年却屹立不倒就足以说明一切问题。
1998年的《Abandon》发行之后，Deep Purple用5年时间展开了世界范围内的大规模巡演。在一些演出中，乐队运用管弦和交响手法重新演绎了以往的经典作品，为世界各地的歌迷带来新的惊喜。
2003年力作《Bananas》已经是老“深紫”的第17张录音室作品了，建队元老之一的Jon Lord于2002年离去，现在Deep Purple里的原始成员只剩下鼓手Ian Paice一人，前Black Sabbath、Rainbow成员Don Airey成为乐队新任键盘手。其他位置上依然是吉他手Steve Morse、主唱Ian Gillan以及贝斯手Roger Glover，这个全新阵容到底会为我们带来些什么那？
演绎经历
深紫的名称其实在1968年成立初期是"迂回乐队"，诞生于伦敦，1969年第一次欧洲范围国家的巡回演唱会后才想到"深紫"的称呼。乐队最初曾历经了十分困难的阶段，和所有热衷摇滚音乐的人一样，都有过比较多的不平常经历，但不过是老成员，还是中间曾加入的成员，都有共同的志向，让我们能坚持到现在。到1972年的录音室专辑《MachineHead》正式出版后，我们开始更多的和志同道合的摇滚音乐人和乐迷接触和合作。
美学思想
深紫乐队的美学思想是建立在英国对布鲁斯音乐进行改良的观念之上，通过大功率的扩音设备表达出来。
