Mushroomhead简介
Mushroomhead最初由鼓手Skinny在克里夫兰组建,正式成立于1993年，他们的风格包括了嘻哈，硬核朋克，哥特摇滚,工业,甚至是techno.Mushroomhead(蘑菇头)， 跟活结一样各名队员头戴不同的面具，身着带编号的制服，音乐狂暴，“臭名昭著” ... .. 但是实际上，Mushroomhead才是第一支头带面具，身着统一的连身服装并编号的的乐队。 他们脸上带着自己主打的主打的X-Face面具，画着油彩，登上舞台，原意是用来隐藏成员的身份。
推出了他们的首张DVD
直到2005年8月，Mushroomhead推出了他们的首张DVD，《蘑菇头卷一》。第1卷0盖了Mushroomhead崛起的过程，在2000年的live，音乐录影带及一些幕后片段剪辑。
2006年,Mushroomhead再一次出现在人们的视线当中，并带来了他们全新概念的专辑 。在这张专辑的音乐的处理上，Mushroomhead运用了许多黑暗实验主义的手法将各种音乐运用起来，处理的丰富自然，达到了一种统一和谐的黑暗氛围，酿成与众不同的舒适感，这种舒适感并非如以往一样源于有趣的动机，或者舒服的频繁，而是一种在若有若无的结构中，各元素相互交迭作用产生的合力。
12 Hundred的MV，还在2007年赢得了美国年度录影的大奖。
这张专辑也让他们跨向了新的音乐旅程。
直到今天,Mushroomhead仍然在地下场所演出，他们仍然不是广为人之，但是他们却有着自己独特的音乐。
Mushroomhead的音乐是那种能把人们带入他们的世界当中旋律，并且会让人开始慢慢排斥其它的音乐，这是他们的音乐本身的最成功之处。
并且最难得的一点是，Mushroomhead他们有自己的平衡，乐队之中没有任何人试图压倒对方。他们的光芒就如同错综复杂的舞蹈，很棒，但却没有一个人踩到对方的脚。
