Dream Theater简介
《梦剧场》（Dream Theater）是一个成立于美国波士顿的前卫金属乐团，由几位“Berklee音乐学院”的在学学生在1985年组成(Majesty，梦剧场乐团的前身)。经过了二十多年，他们已经成为1970年代前卫摇滚高峰期后在商业上表现最成功的前卫乐团之一，堪称是90年代以来最重要也最具代表性与影响力的前卫金属乐团，其92年所发表的专辑《Images and Words》，为当时的金属乐开创出新的表现形式，专辑中高层次的技术展现，使得团员纷纷成为各方注目的焦点，也使得这张专辑顺理成章地成为前卫金属史上的经典代表作。

梦剧场的乐手的高超技巧是广为人知的，也赢得许多音乐杂志的奖项。他们也受到许多摇滚及金属乐名人的尊敬，甚至有一些颇具盛名的乐手找他们合作。最有名的例子就是吉他手“John Petrucci”在2001年继Eric Johnson、Robert Fripp、Yngwie Malmsteen及其他十分具有有影响力的吉他手后，获邀参加G3巡回表演，和Steve Vai及Joe Satriani共同演出。
梦剧场在音乐上的多才多艺及融合许多乐风的音乐作品也使他们的演出更具多样性。他们也曾和下列乐团一起巡回演出，像是深紫、Emerson Lake and Palmer、Iron Maiden、Joe Satriani、King's X、Marillion、Megadeth、In Flames、Pain of Salvation、Porcupine Tree、Queensryche、Spock's Beard、Fear Factory、Enchant、Symphony X和Yes。2005年他们也参加了“Gigantour festival”，由梦剧场和Megadeth作为主秀。
