Birdy简介
英国歌手兼歌曲作家Birdy，真名为贾斯敏 范登博加尔德（Jasmine Van den Bogaerde，看姓氏，估计有荷兰血统)，她的艺名Birdy更为人所知。2011年，14岁的Birdy翻唱并发行了美国歌手Bon Iver的一首歌曲Skinny Love，该单曲为她首次打入英国排行榜（the UK charts)，并被列入Xfm（一家广播电台）的榜单，同时也成为Shak\'s overnight show听众最爱的歌曲 ，也被UK radio DJ Fearne Cotton选为“本周歌曲”。

艺人介绍
真名为贾斯敏·范·登·博加尔德（Jasmine Van den Bogaerde，拥有英国、比利时及荷兰血统)，她的艺名Birdy更为人所知。妈妈为音乐会的钢琴伴奏者，所以Birdy在7岁时已开始学习钢琴，八岁时着手于第一首自创曲。这样一个清纯涵雅的英国女孩从小接受家庭的音乐熏陶，家乡的如画美景也同样影响着她的音乐创作，她的歌听起来清幽温婉又打动人心。Birdy就读于该市的一所规模较小的公立学校，Priestlands School，一所专攻演奏及表演和视觉艺术的学校。

幼年经历
Birdy出生于英国南部汉普郡的一个风景如画的地方——利明顿市。
她的妈妈是一个钢琴演奏家。Birdy从6岁起就开始学习钢琴，7岁时就开始创作她自己的音乐，从小就擅长歌唱和弹奏钢琴。Birdy祖父一辈的叔叔Sir Dirk Bogarde（德克·博加德）是一名演员，曾主演过《魂断威尼斯》，不过该片中后来为大家耳熟能详的却是被称为“世界第一美少年”的伯恩·安德森。
成名比赛Open Mic UK：
2008年，年仅12岁的她就打败了10000多名的选手，赢得英国才艺比赛(Open Mic UK)18岁以下组别的冠军，在2000名现场观众面前，她表演了自己创作的歌曲So Be Free，并赢得出版公司Good Soldier Songs Ltd提供的一份合同，该公司由Christian Tattersfield经营，他是华纳兄弟英国音乐和14th Floor Records公司的主席。该公司此前签约的歌手有David Gray等。
2009年，Birdy为英国BBC Raddio 3's Pianothon现场演奏钢琴。

近几年发展：

2011年7月19日，Birdy在BBC Raddio 1的Live Lounge中表演了The XX的同名歌曲“shelter”以及改编翻唱了Ed Sheeran的歌曲"The A Team"。
2011年9月30日播出的美剧“吸血鬼日记”第三季03集中，Birdy新作“shelter”以片尾曲出现。
