生活和事业
出生在加利福尼亚州的奥兰治县。在5岁的时候，受古典音乐的熏陶影响，她向父亲提出学习拉小提琴的机会。尽管当时家庭经济贫困，斯特林还是在6岁的生日收到了自己期待已久的礼物。后来斯特林通过私人课程和乐队的古典学习了十二年，她16岁的时候参加了一个由四人组成的摇滚乐队。长期在乐队学习的她有着丰富的经验，于是她写了一个独奏小提琴的摇滚歌曲。林赛·斯特林的表演为她赢得了亚利桑那州的国家小姐选美的两个广告席位。
