Daughtry简介
Daughtry /dɔːtri/是北卡罗来纳州的一只摇滚乐队，在2006年以美国偶像第五季的第四名Chris Daughtry为核心组建而成。他们的首张同名专辑《Daughtry》也于同年发行。这张唱片曾经在不连续的两周登顶过Billboard 200排行榜（发布的第9周和第15周），成为全美冠军专辑。也成为偶像出身的艺人中唯一的发行后爬升至冠军位置的专辑。
乐队史
2006-2008：同名专辑以及突破性的成功
2006年7月10日 唱作俱佳的美国偶像第五季第四名Chris Daughtry与19 Entertainment 和RCA Records正式签约。在婉拒了著名的Fuel乐队的主唱邀请后，Chris决定组建起自己的乐队。通过公司组织的海选，最终四位成员Jeremy Brady（已离队）、Josh Steely 、Josh “JP” Paul、Joey Barnes与Chris一起组成了这支新乐队，并以Chris的姓氏Daughtry作为乐队的名字。
2009至今：第二张专辑《Leave This Town》
2009年3月9日，Chris在乐队官网上宣布乐队已经完成了第二张专辑的录制工作。7月14日，这张歌迷翘首期待了两年多的《Leave This Town》正式在美国、加拿大、英国等地发行，专辑从最初的70多首候选曲目中精选了12首放入正式的专辑，并有其余7首歌曲在不同的版本中作为加歌（Bonus Tracks）。专辑的名称《Leave This Town》来源于专辑中的曲目《September》的一句歌词，而其他曲目如《You Don't Belong》, 《No Surprise》,《Life After You》 和《Everytime You Turn Around》也都体现了专辑离开（Leave）这一主题。
