Snow Patrol简介

影响
Snow Patrol的成功促进了贝尔法斯特（北爱尔兰首府）地区音乐事业的繁荣发展。一方面，乐队成员们对于来自家乡的乐队特别照顾，其次他们创立了Polar Music。许多音乐人如Bono（来自U2），Michael Stipe（来自R.E.M.），Nikki Sixx（来自Mötley Crüe）都表达了对Snow Patrol的欣赏。建立Good Vibrations厂牌并用其一生为北爱尔兰当地音乐做贡献的音乐人Terri Hooley也高度赞扬Snow Patrol。
Gary Lightbody和Tom Simpson都是Dundee F.C.足球俱乐部的球迷，并帮助俱乐部走出经济危机。乐队拥有纽约Houndstooth酒吧的股份。
乐队创建了Polar Music，和不同风格的音乐人签约。鼓手Jonny Quinn解释说：我们没有明确的目标，只要音乐足够好，我们110%对它感兴趣，我们就会签约。Snow Patrol的队员们就像一群星探。第一个和他们签约的是Johnny McDaid。Quinn称，他们倾向于和乐人做“一次性交易”即可以只在他们那儿发一张专辑，这样就可以避免因为后续的期望而给乐人过多的压力。
2012年7月27日，Snow Patrol在2012伦敦奥运会上演出。
慈善事业
2009年Nathan Connolly和Gary Lightbody将吉他拨片和证书捐献给了Music Beats Mines慈善项目，所捐物品在eBay上拍卖，所得善款将用于战争冲突地区的矿产开发事业。
