Whitesnake简介
David Coverdale在组建Whitesnake之前是另一支老牌Hard Rock团体Deep Purple的第三任主唱，尽管他歌喉十分出色，同时也擅长词曲创作，但此时的Deep Purple已是每况愈下，David Coverdale十分明智的在Deep Purple解散之前开始了自己的独唱生涯。在1977年，David Coverdale以个人的名义推出首张专辑《Trouble》。隔年，他推出第二张个人专辑《Northwinds》，同上张专辑一样，新专辑的内容是以男人的眼光对心目中女性的描写，尽管David Coverdale表现的很努力，但两张专辑的成绩都不很理想。
